Facebook Button As visitors to your site to share content with your friends on Facebook likes. When the user clicks the button, as in place, a story appears in the diet of new users friends “with a link to your website. This is a great way to promote your site (but of course we must have good content that people actually want).

If, like me, you use Google websites / apps, you’ll see that Google is an HTML editor does not allow any code to Facebook likes. You receive an error message like this:

“Your HTML either contains unsafe tags (iframe, embed, styles, script) or extra attributes. They will be deleted when the page is displayed.”

The solution is to use a gadget called a “wrapper code”, which was written by a guy named Mori who is the guru of all his experience and Google share with others without expecting anything in return.

Here’s how.

First go to Facebook likes to pick up your official code name for the same button. Enter the information requested on the form. Do not forget to include http:// in front of the Internet, otherwise it will not work. Click the Code to obtain and copy the code.

Facebook likes offers two types of code, or XFBML iframe. I discovered that my iPad would not show the gadget that used the code XFBML, so I stuck to iframes to my own website.

Then go to your site with Google:

Select the edit page for the page you want to add the Facebook likes button.

Place your cursor over the place in the page where you want the button.

Menu bar, click Add, and then more gadgets.

The Search field displays.

Enter the code in the box and the wrapper code for the gadget’s icon will appear. Click on the icon and select it.

Paste the code that you copied from a page on Facebook Embed Code title.

Select the entire window, you want to view. This depends on the type of button you have chosen. I’m using 80×20 pixels option “button-count.”

Make sure the check boxes to show the title and scroll bars have not been selected.

That’s it. Once you save the page, the Facebook button looks and works like a dream.
