Congressman Kevin Brady, a senior member and subcommittee chair for the House Ways and Means Committee spoke on the House floor in favor of a bi-partisan bill sponsored by Representative Diane Black, which will save taxpayers billion by fixing a problem with Medicaid subsidies and bringing them in line with the standards used by other federal low-income programs such as food stamps and public housing. Taxpayer funds should not be used to enroll middle class individuals into Medicaid.
