This is part 1 detailing 000 in damage at our rental condos by Section 8 tenants. This property got only 00 damage. Our other condo got 00 in damage. Section 8 Housing program is provided by HUD, providing affordable housing to poor and disabled. You and I fund this via taxes. Landlords you can get your property approved as a Section 8 property. The problem with Section 8 is you often get young single mothers with a few young kids, all with different last names, and entitlement issues, we as society owe them something. You and I are funding sinful lifestyles. They have their hands out, gimme attitudes and no appreciation of blessings given to them, no respect for your property. Their criminal dead beat boyfriends move in, which is a felony. They start sub-renting to others as well, collecting rent while getting free rent from the government. There’s no pride of ownership, they don’t maintain property, don’t follow rules, don’t change the AC filters you provide them not too much to ask, takes a minute, my Section 8 Tenants never paid their part of the rent on time, you always have to go collect it and put up with lies. They think so little of you that lying is no big deal. They think they are smarter than you by lying. There are good Section 8 tenants who treat your place well, but good luck finding the wheat through all the chaff. The bad apples ruin it for good ones, people yell at landlords like me as if it’s our fault, instead of going after the bad apples …
